Llanddona BeachĀ is a long sandy beach that forms the eastern end of Red Wharf Bay.
Puffin IslandĀ āĀ Puffin Island is an uninhabited island off the eastern tip of Anglesey. AĀ Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI), unfortunately it is not possible for visitors to land on the island without permission from the landowner. However if you want to see the birds then the best way is to take a boat trip around the island. Boat trips operate all through the summer with three operators. All boats operate from Beaumaris.
Penmon PrioryĀ āĀ Remains of the priory dating from the thirteenth century, when the house became part of the Augustinian order. The origins of the site are traditionally associated with St Seiriol in the sixth century.Ā Set in a quiet corner of Anglesey along winding lanes. Ā£3.00 to park here also covers travelling further on to Penmon Point with its beach and view of the lighthouse. Ruins of the Priory with full explanations, an old Dovecote and St Seriolās church and a well. Plus some pathways to explore. Wonderful views over the Straights to the Snowdonia range.
Anglesey Coastal PathĀ āĀ The Anglesey Coastal Path is a 200-kilometre long-distance footpath around the island of Anglesey in North Wales. Section 6: Pentraeth to Beaumaris
Penmon LighthouseĀ āĀ Trwyn Du LighthouseĀ is aĀ lighthouseĀ between Black Point nearĀ PenmonĀ and Ynys Seriol, orĀ Puffin Island, at the eastern extremity ofĀ Anglesey, marking the passage between the two islands. Nice place to take some photos or just relax and watch the sea!
Lleiniog BeachĀ āĀ Long sandy and rocky rural beach on the shore of the Menai Straits near Beaumaris. This beach is perfectly located for glorious views of the Snowdonian mountains the Great Orme and of passing boats along the Menai Straits. It offers plenty of space on the beach to play around in the sun as well as to explore rock pools and collect a shell or two!

The cottage is situated in a quiet peaceful village. The cottage is very homely and comfortable . It had been thoroughly cleaned.
The owners, who live in the cottage next door, were most helpful to us. There is a little garden where you can sit outside. We found it quite idyllic.

What a beautiful place to stay! The annexe was kitted out with everything you could possibly need for a self catering break. Lovely, warm and cosy feel to the place. Excellent information about the local area in the porch way with leaflets, restaurant and take away menus etc and the owners couldn’t have been more friendly and helpful. They even printed off vouchers for us for money off a local restaurant. Nothing was too much trouble. The annexe is in a great location, only a few miles from Beaumaris. Lovely countryside location and only a few minutes drive to some fabulous beaches. The accommodation was spotlessly clean, a lovely spacious bedroom and en-suite shower room. Comfortable reclining chairs and a lovely little kitchenette. Great & extensive selection of DVDs to watch if you get a rainy day / evening! Would highly recommend and I will definitely be back!

A really nice, clean and tidy cottage located in the village of Llandona only 10 minutes from Beaumaris. Everything you need for a great holiday with lots of information available about visiting the island. The owners David and Teresa who live next door are very helpful and friendly. A pub in the village serves great food and is only a 5min. walk away. Would recommend this cottage.

Theresa and David were very welcoming and most helpful and gave us lots of information about places to visit. They have an extensive library of information available about Anglesey, including videos. These provided excellent reading and would be very good to study on wet days. We were lucky and had a dry and mainly sunny week. The quiet accommodation had all we needed for a most enjoyable stay.
