Bike & Kayak Anglesey
The sheltered waters of the Menai Straits offer kayaking for all levels of ability amidst majestic mountain scenery. From our hire location opposite Beaumaris Beach, novice kayakers can explore the sheltered, calm waters of the bay at Beaumaris amidst stunning mountain scenery, between the Pier at Beaumaris and beach at Gallows Point. More experienced kayakers can venture out along the Menai Straits to the awe-inspiring Menai Bridge built by Thomas Telford in the 19th century. You can even stop off for a drink or a bite to eat at a local pub at the water’s edge near Bangor pier. Expert kayakers may prefer to kayak north-east from Beaumaris alongside seals and sea-birds towards Puffin island, a truly magical wildlife experience.
